Brick Makers

The air was thick with caustic dust and sand. Men women and children live just off the main highway that travels from Delhi to Jaipur. On the day I visited it was over 112 degrees in the shade. Although I have often heard of the workers being indentured servants at these brick making factories, there was no way for me to be sure when it came to these people. What was clear to me was that the working conditions were awful and that children should be in school.
